We are delighted to introduce Dr Nitisha Patel, a child and adolescent psychiatrist who specialises in children with eating disorders. As part of her role as consultant psychiatrist for a national inpatient eating disorder unit, she regularly assesses and treats young people with not only eating disorders, but a range of mental health problems including ADHD, autism and depression.
Her work also involves managing the physical healthcare of her patients. Dr Patel has over 10 years’ experience in the field, and is skilled at working with young people, their families, schools and local authorities.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fees| Self Pay Only
2 hour ADHD assessment | £950
ADHD assessment (2 hour consultation)
£950 includes:
- Including comprehensive testing, report and treatment if required
- The appointments can be split over 2 consultations as some children are not able to tolerate 2 hours straight
- Approximately 60 min with parents and 30 min with child (can be split into 2 appointments for parent interview to be remote)
- Liaison with GP as necessary
2 hour ASD assessment | £1,450
2 hour ASD assessment
£1,450 includes:
- Including comprehensive testing, report and treatment if required

Initial Child Psychiatrist Consultation
90 minutes £550 includes:
- Detailed history taking from parents and child
- Recommendations given at same appointment
- Liaison with GP as necessary
Follow-up Child Psychiatrist Consultation
60 minutes £390 includes:
- Medication/treatment review
- Follow up liaison with GP as necessary
Medication Review Child Psychiatrist Consultation | 30 minutes £150
