Health Screening
Health screens. Individual to you
Health screening is a way of understanding your health better and obtaining the reassurance and guidance that you might need or to identify any potential concerns early, often before symptoms appear.
Health screening involves a comprehensive set of tests which can look for early signs of illness or identify apparently healthy people who may have an increased risk of a particular condition or cancer.
Tailored specifically to you
Of course, we are all different and your health screen will be tailored specifically to you and your individual needs. Firstly, you will have a preliminary face to face appointment with one of our experienced doctors, this will consist of a full physical examination, a lifestyle assessment and discussion, a review of your family history and a range of appropriate tests, investigations and imaging if appropriate.
Comprehensive Health Screens
This is so much more than a routine health check, our comprehensive health screens provide a holistic and patient centred picture of you and your health. Indeed, here at The Barnes Doctors, we find that health screening can be a great way to start our relationship with you, providing us with a better understanding of you and your health for future GP consultations.
Continuity of care is at the heart of what we stand for, and this, combined with advanced diagnostic technology, means that your health and wellbeing is in very good hands.
