Dr Marigold Hayes

Dr Marigold Hayes is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience across the breadth of Adult Mental Health Services from Primary Care and Recovery Teams to Crisis settings.

In clinic, Dr Hayes works with many common mental health difficulties and is able to offer short, medium and longer-term individual psychological therapy to adults and young people (aged 18+).

Her main approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, both traditional and third wave (including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness). The nature of her training is such that she is versed in a number of therapeutic models, and she has an interest in Psychodynamic ideas, which have influenced her therapeutic style.

Dr Hayes provides evidence-based interventions in a confidential setting to ensure clients receive the best possible outcome. She is aware of the need for flexibility and creativity within the work to ensure therapy is meaningful to her clients. She believes that one of the most effective ways to help others is through empowering them to feel more able to manage their difficulties, improve self-confidence and self-agency.

Dr Hayes holds HCPC registration and is a BPS registered Chartered Psychologist. She also holds full BABCP accreditation.
