Dr Kate Ryan

Dr Kate Ryan is a Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC and a member of the British Psychological Society. 

Dr Ryan, has worked across both NHS and private settings, with particular experience in addiction services, including alcohol, substance, and behavioural addictions. Alongside this, she specialises in working with eating disorders, ADHD, and borderline personality disorder, and has extensive experience supporting individuals with complex and comorbid presentations, including trauma and relational difficulties.

She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centred Therapy, and also draws on psychodynamic theory to deepen understanding of unconscious processes and relational patterns. 

Dr Ryan works with both adults and adolescents, supporting patients to better understand themselves, navigate difficulties, and create lasting, meaningful change.
