Anneliese Setchell is a Nutritional Therapist with 18 years of clinical experience.
Her work is shaped by training in functional medicine, lifestyle medicine, nutrigenomics (how individuals respond differently to diet and lifestyle) and the psychology of behaviour change and eating.
Anneliese takes a personalised, whole-body approach, looking at how diet, lifestyle and environment influence health and wellbeing. Using established behaviour change models, she supports realistic and lasting change, with particular consideration given to the impact of stress and modern living.
Working with personalised, food-first nutrition and lifestyle strategies to focus on weight and hormonal health (including PCOS and perimenopause), digestive health (including reflux, bloating and constipation), low energy, and stress and nervous system support.
Anneliese has a particular interest in the patterns that shape health behaviours, supporting clients to bring awareness to unhelpful habits, beliefs and emotional drivers that may be barriers to progress. This work is informed by ongoing professional training in Compassionate Inquiry with Gabor Maté.
Her work is calm and considered, creating a space where clients feel heard and supported.
Anneliese is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), an Accredited Register recognised by the Professional Standards Authority, and is a full member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (mBANT). Nutritional therapy can complement medical care and is delivered alongside your GP and other healthcare professionals where appropriate.
